At an elevation of 2500 feet above sea level, Bear Lake (a.k.a. Bear Creek Lake) is one of the most pristine mountain lakes in the United States. Nearly half of the 13 mile shoreline is part of Bear Lake Reserve, an upscale mountain resort complete with amenities, dining, marina, and a golf course. This 476 acre mountain lake has depths up to 190 feet and is ideal for recreation of all kinds including fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing, jet skiing, swimming, and more. Unique secluded mountain cabins are available for rent all around the lake. The lake has a public boat launch area for guests bringing their own watercraft.
